Melanie Hibbert
Editor/Writer/Project Manager
I’ve worked in children’s and adult illustrated book publishing for many years, and have a passion for writing children’s books. I love to explore and discover new things about the world to share with young readers. During my career, I’ve delved into many subjects including: natural history, health, travel, cookery and craft. I thrive on new challenges so will happily tackle most genres, whether that be reference, activity, novels or rhyming picture books. I grew up in Scotland, have worked in the USA, Japan, Edinburgh and London, and now live in the beautiful city of Bath. My latest goal is to learn to play the saxophone!

Designer/Illustrator
It’s a real pleasure to create new book projects. The diversity of topics I’ve worked on has opened my eyes to the world around me. I love learning amazing facts and immersing myself in a new subject. I have designed many children’s illustrated books and a wide variety of adult special interest magazines. This broad spectrum experience allows me to adapt my style accordingly for each new project. Take a look at my design work.
